Dishwasher Technician and Dishwasher Repair in 28 May: Dishwasher Water Leakage Problem
Dishwasher technician and dishwasher repair services in 28 May. Professional repair of water leaking from the bottom of the dishwasher, replacement of a worn door seal, inspection of water connections, and repair of other dishwasher faults.
A customer living in the 28 May area requested dishwasher repair because water was collecting on the floor while the appliance was running. According to the customer, only a few drops of water initially appeared in front of the dishwasher, but over the last few days the amount of water had gradually increased during the wash cycle. The leak was particularly noticeable during the main washing stage, with water appearing around the lower part of the door. The operator asked when the problem had started, which part of the appliance the water was coming from, whether the leak occurred during all programs, and whether the dishwasher had previously been repaired. After gathering the necessary information, a suitable dishwasher technician was scheduled for the following day.
After arriving at the address, the technician thoroughly inspected the water inlet and drain connections, door, door seal, internal washing chamber, filter system, and components located in the lower part of the appliance. During a test program, the dishwasher technician determined that the water was mainly leaking from the lower edge of the door. Further inspection revealed that part of the rubber door seal had lost its original shape and could no longer provide a complete watertight seal when the door was closed.
During the dishwasher repair, the worn door seal was removed and replaced with a new seal suitable for the specific dishwasher model. The dishwasher technician checked that the seal was correctly positioned around the door and provided even contact along its entire length. The door closing mechanism and lock were also adjusted. To ensure that the leak was not coming from another source, the technician separately inspected the water inlet hose, drain hose, pump connections, and the bottom section of the appliance. No additional leaks or faults requiring replacement of other parts were detected.
After the dishwasher repair was completed, the dishwasher technician tested the appliance using a full wash program covering all major operating stages. The area around the door and the bottom of the dishwasher were monitored during water intake, washing, rinsing, and draining. No water leakage was observed throughout the entire program. It was confirmed that the door closed properly, the new seal prevented water from escaping, and the dishwasher operated normally and steadily.
The work was completed in approximately 1.5 hours. The customer was advised to regularly clean food residue and dirt from the door seal, avoid forcing the dishwasher door closed, and not overload the baskets. The customer was also advised not to delay dishwasher repair and to have the appliance inspected by a dishwasher technician if water appears in front of or underneath the dishwasher. Continued use of a leaking dishwasher could damage the flooring, electrical components, and other parts of the appliance.
